I build software, and I help teams build software with AI agents.
I have worked in software for 29 years, most of it as an architect and developer on large systems that had to keep running. Since 2024 my focus has been agentic engineering: getting real production work done with coding agents, and teaching development teams to do the same.
I work hands-on. I write the code, I review the architecture, and I stay with a project from design through to production.
Agentic engineering
- Putting coding agents — Claude Code, Codex — into real development work, not demonstrations
- Establishing the practices that make agent-driven development hold up at team scale: scoping, review, testing, guardrails
- Training development teams to adopt agentic engineering, and staying with them while it takes hold
Language models in production
- Self-hosting open-weight models where data residency, cost, or control rule out a hosted API
- Fine-tuning models for a specific domain or task
- Judging where a language model earns its keep, and saying so when it does not
Software development
- Custom development, on new systems and on existing ones
- Modernising and migrating legacy systems to the cloud
- Refactoring systems that have grown expensive to change
- Untangling projects that have stalled
- Independent architecture and code review
How I work
Mainly Python and C#/.NET. Comfortable in TypeScript across React, Vue, and Angular. On Azure and AWS.
Through 2024 and 2025 I ran generative-AI training in Danish organisations, for development teams and for staff with no technical background. That experience now goes into agentic engineering for software teams.
